One of a kind authentic Kilims
We source all of our Kilims directly from Kurdistan, each is a one of a kind piece.
For thousands of years, Kilims have been created across the Middle East as both practical textiles and expressions of culture. The earliest surviving examples can be dated back to the 17th-18th centuries. But it’s suggested that Kurdish Kilims may have been woven as far back as 10-12th centuries. With their vibrant colours and patterns often symbolising themes of love, protection and community.
Bringing a Kilim into your home, for the floor or to be hung on the wall as art, is more than adding colour and texture. It’s welcoming a story, tradition and piece of heritage that has been passed down through generations.
Culture
Bringing communities together in one space.
Community
Using different creative forms to connect culture, communities and conversations.
Creativity
A hub where we get to build bridges between different cultures.
Full Moon Revolution - more than a shop.
We are actively invested in connection and culture across the globe and making a difference where we can.
Kilims hold ancestral stories through the symbolism, each Kilim is completely individual, much like the people throughout our communities. Full Moon Revolution has community and culture at the heart.
We are working to build a hub that brings communities together, offers educational opportunities and builds relationships and support charities globally through talks, workshops and events.
See our events page to find out more about what we are currently organising and join the mailing list to be kept up to date with future events.
